6 things i love about live local and 1 thing that bugs me

local.live.com is quickly becoming my favorite Windows Live service. Here are the top 6 things I love about this service:
  1. double click to zoom in: small feature that i love, it's what I hate about google maps
  2. collections: this is such a fantastic idea... check out the european trip i'm planning: http://local.live.com/?v=2&cid=7C130D76D92F20A3!2661
  3. rollover for push-pins: great UI touch
  4. animations when opening/closing/expanding components: great UI touch
  5. traffic integration: fantabulous
  6. bird's eye view: cooool
my top complaint:
the 2 boxes for business vs. address... this is oh so confusing and I always enter things in the wrong box. they should be merged and smart enough to detect wether the input is an address or a business.

great job live local team... you get the sanaz award, oh and the pc mag award ;)

Probably two different VP's, typical Microsoft culture.

I did not find how to go to a place only with lat and lon coordinates...

I LOVE Live Local.  And I too HATE those two input boxes.

Agree on double input boxes -- one of my  my real only remaining pet peeve about Live Local.

Another great feature is the Virtual Earth SDK they published on http://dev.live.com.  The interactivity of it is sweet!
